Chirpee's Sustainability Policy

Where possible we will suggest seasonal locally grown flowers to avoid a high carbon footprint from flying flowers across the world. We are mindful that sometimes due to the time of year it is a necessity. Working with the seasons makes complete sense as your colours will fit within the world around you.

We forage for unusual items to include within designs as we love using natural items.

We recycle all floral waste to make compost, which is re-used to grow a selection of foliage for wedding use.

Dismantling – we encourage couples to make sure all floral designs are given to Guests to take home. Where this is not possible, we can arrange a collection and a delivery to a local hospice.

We recycle all plastic wrapping and prefer to present floral design with craft or brown paper.

Our cellophane and packaging is biodegradable.

Foam free alternatives are available to avoid single use plastic.

We re-use market flower boxes to present designs for you.

Live trees or planted crates can be used instead of floral designs and can be gifted afterwards, or you can take home and re-plant so remembering your lovely day forever.

We can create Willow or Birch Arches for your Ceremony which you can take home afterwards and re-purpose in your garden.
