Chirpee Flowers - Our Story

Steph shares, "It all began with my grandad, who operated a vibrant chrysanthemum nursery Lincolnshire during the 1930s, supplying the renowned Covent Garden market in London.

As a third-generation florist, my parents also owned three shops in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

My passion for floristry ignited through competitions, leading to an incredible opportunity to collaborate with the World President of Interflora on a stunning Chelsea Flower exhibit that won a Gold Medal!

Having taught at Plumpton College and served as the Head of Floristry, I then took on the role of Floristry Training Manager for WorldSkills International, training talented young florists who have achieved over 18 Gold Medals at Chelsea.

With a Graduateship in Coaching for Performance Excellence from Cumbria University, I have taught internationally, from Brazil to Japan.

Tim, the business mastermind behind our company, brings a wealth of experience in accounting, banking, and law, ensuring our operations run smoothly. You might also spot him on a ladder installing arches!

Together with our wonderful team, Tim and I are committed to crafting breathtaking designs for couples across Sussex and beyond, making your wedding day as beautiful as you envision.
